We
are planning 6 adventures a year for Trail Buggy enthusiast and 4-wheeler
friends
Because it was brand new we did a lot of trips
in August.
Trinity Lakes: From
Anderson Dam there are great trails leading up to beautiful high mountain
lakes. We went with two trail buggys and six 4 wheelers. The ride was fantastic.
Next year we want to do the trip in August again while the lake is down and
there are miles of open sand Along Anderson Dam's shore to play in.
Montour: This is a quick fun trip from Emmett Cycle park up through the canyon to Montour Bird Refuge, goes around the back side of Black Canyon Reservoir where the islands are. About a half hour trip with a place to do a picnic and restrooms.
Leslie Gulch: This
was by far the best adventure so far this year. We started at a small ranch
just out of Homedale with plenty of parking and rode up to a really beautiful
20' water fall that was a real surprise for the Idaho desert. Then over to
Leslie Gulch which is an amazing canyon of carved out sand stone pillars 30
feet high in Reds, Greens, you name it. Picnic at Owyhee Reservoir and then
up to Succor creek and back. 80 miles - 7 hours, next year we will split it
into two trips. It was a fantastic ride.
